At the Prague University of Economics and Business, we place great emphasis on both professional and personal development, and we are convinced that your education does not have to end with obtaining a degree. Education is an inseparable part of the complete life of every individual and, at the same time, a key to the ability to adapt to the challenges that the future presents us.
As part of lifelong learning, we offer the general public the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop skills in areas of their choice, and we help unleash their potential through short-term and long-term courses. Lifelong learning (from now on referred to as “LLL”) encompasses various forms of learning that strengthen, deepen, renew, or expand the individuals’; knowledge, skills, and qualifications. LLL programs are oriented towards professional performance or personal interests. A specific type of interest-oriented education is the University of the Third Age. LLL courses are offered in Czech and English, in face-to-face present or combined form. Upon completion, each participant receives a certificate.
Lifelong learning is governed by § 60 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions, and the Rules of Lifelong Learning and Education in Internationally Recognized Courses of the Prague University of Economics and Business.
